The Sprinter is a fast tire for short road events such as criteriums. With a Kevlar reinforced nylon puncture protection breaker, it is more reliable without losing its excellent rolling qualities. Its flexible shell and non-slip rubber compound maintain contact even during quick 90-degree bends. With its low weight and neutral smooth profile, it is definitely the fastest tire for the last 400 meters.

BlackChili compound

This unique tread rubber compound, produced only at the factory in Continental Germany, revolutionized bicycle tires. The resulting compounds showed a new relationship between grip and rolling resistance. This "elevated", as it was previously known, was named "BlackChili". The latest polymers, nano-scale soot particles and optimized fillers all guarantee unique performance that is second to none in their respective fields, from downhill mountain bike tires to ProTour time trial tires. BlackChili compound increases rolling resistance by 26% and grip by 30% compared to active silica compounds. Premium tires with BlackChili compounds also offer higher mileage and, unlike many compounds, provide a stable ride from the first kilometer to the last.

SafetySystem:
The SafetySystem puncture protection is made of strong and tight nylon fabric. The fabric is also reinforced with Kevlar®. The result is a tire structure that is highly resistant to crushing and cutting. The safety system protects the tires from debris, brambles and broken glass. The safety system keeps the tires light and nimble. It adapts to rolling motion and maintains low rolling resistance. The safety system is built between the tread and casing. It's here to protect the casing fabric and help extend the life of the tire.
